Trapped Inside Herself

she was frozen solid. they had put a mirror in her hand and forced her to stare at her own mannequined face.

inside she was miserable. nothing to do but worry and be bored.

if only she was scientifically literate. if she could do some pretty simple geometry in her head she could get herself out of this mess. unfreeze herself and make like a tree.

but goddamn, she could hardly add or subtract. let alone do any fractions, algebras, or geometry.

so here she was trapped. a victim of marketing and superstition. unable to do simple geometry and unable to move, help, or defend herself.

“somebody help me move. goddamn somebody help me get the fuck out of here before they come back…”

she had 3 days to sit like this until it was legal to ruin her.

our universe could help though. we still had some Johnsons left.
